Leadership is having the confidence to stand up with what you believe, the humility to receive and embrace feedback, the ability to empathize from multiple perspectives, the courage to change and evolve for the better and strength to get back up when you fall, all with a mindset of compassion and trust.

What is Expected vs What is Essential
What is essential is not necessarily what is expected. When one brings into play what they think is essential over what is expected, they take leadership. There is a causal disruption that creates a new paradigm and over-rides the old with the new - where the new is what is needed, and generally not what is expected. Change occurs not for the sake of change but for the sake of betterment and advancement.
Great Leaders Say We & You
Great leaders rarely ever say "I" except when they are taking on blame. They would use "we" and "YOU" to empower and move the masses. They are rarely there to take on credit even when they can legitimately take credit. Great leaders put others first.
